Post by creepingdeath » Sun Jul 29, 2007 10:38 am

So far i hear great things about Davis wall tents. Anyone else gota company they would reccomend for a wall tent. Also what size would you use for 4 guys over a 2 week period?

A friend reccomended have D-rings stiched in. In stead of using the gramets?? They used heavy duty strapping to attach the D-rings. Any thoughts?

Check out Davis Tent http://www.davistent.com

Whatever size you're considering, go bigger. I wanted a 10X12 and endep up with a 12X18. And it gets crowded sometimes!

I have the internal frame and a rainfly with an 8' overhang. That's where I cook in the summer. In the winter time, I cook inside on the wood stove.

Davis will customize the tent to your specs. Ask them about the d-rings vs the grommets. They build a nice tent.

we have a 16 x 20 tent from Davis tent and we love it!!! we have the same stove as mark and it works great!,

we didn't get any windows in ours but we have doors at both ends! when it's just our family we actually pull in the 4-wheelers inside for the night! we sleep 6 with cots and have plenty of room!

if we were to do it all again.. we would get the same tent! change nothing!
