Anybody ever hunted Fall River County South Dakota for Mule Deer, I drew a 1 any buck and 1 any doe permit, last year I could only get the whitetail only permit so I had to concentrate all my efforts down along the river bottoms so I didn't really get out into the muley country having the mule deer tag is opening up a whole new world but in such a big area I don't now where to start any info would be greatly appreciated

Welcome Pasco Kid, That's a good draw for a NR. Haven't hunted there.
You have some idea having hunted the area.
If it were me I would study the BLM maps, find a spot with few trails or roads
then go from there.

I think that is the right direction actually it's not blm it's mostly buffalo gap national grasslands and unfortunately their not exactly roadless but the are vast so you can escape the crowds if your willing to venture I gues I wouldn't call them crowds in SD opening day is nothing like here in WA
