On "the other" MM forum they said that he is on a high fenced ranch in Texas and his semen is selling for 285,000 a vile.

I can't tell you for sure, but 99% of the time A deer like that will be on a high fence place. They will cull heavily and trade does with other ranches until they get the genetics they like. The semen straws will be sold to low and high fence places. The person that sent me these pictures said this bucks straws are selling for $280K a piece.


He's a genuine South Texas Buck, but he is the product of years of management and selective breeding. The drop tines and kickers are pretty typical for South Texas.

280K are you serious??? I have a hard time believing the number figure there. I KNOW there is BIG money and lots of it in this...but that much for a vile is nuts IMO!

one straw will breed several does. If half of those does raise bucks that can be sold for over 20K and the other half does that go on to produce bucks that can be sold for over 20k the return on your investment is potentially pretty good. especially if one of those bucks grows up to be bigger than his daddy.
