Clarendon Hunt succss

Post by gizmo1 » Mon Nov 21, 2011 8:27 pm

Well as promised here it is. These are the bucks taken this year in Clarendon Texas. We had a great hunt. Sorry I do not have a picture yet of the Auodad that a friend of mine shot. I was out trying to get my deer when he killed it. All in all we had a wonderful time with friends and family. My son killed his first buck it was a 6 point (eastern count), I shot a 130's ish 8 point, and my Dad killed a toad of a 150's 10 point. I also included a picture of a monster 190's deer that was killed by a guy who was sharing camp with us.

Here is my son's first buck.

Those are some great looking bucks. Looks like you had a great hunt. Are Whitetail antlers typically that light colored? It almost appears as if they are freshly cleaned off.

yes we dont have many sappy type trees or shrubs to give them the chocolate color. a lot of are deer have real light colored antlers.
