2010 Nevada Antelope

Post by GUTPYLZ » Wed Aug 25, 2010 11:37 pm

Had a lot of fun with my family on my hunt. This was supposed to be a tough hunt. Apparently, there is only like a 147 animals in this unit. 90 something does, 28 fawns and around 30 bucks. They said only 6% of the hunters filled their tag last year in this unit too. The sad thing, is when I seen this one, he was so much bigger than the others I'd seen at the time. I'm happy with him, but the next day scouting for my Mule Deer Hunt later in the year, I seen a 15'! That sucks, but it is what it is. Anyway, enjoy the pictures.

That's awesome. I would love to get a goat with my bow some day.

Love the family pictures too.

A trophy animal can be many things. I'd say getting a nice representative animal of the area you were hunting with you family present is as good as it could possibly get. Congrats on a fine antelope hunt. Thanks for sharing with us.
