Winter Range Bulls - Location?

Post by MuleyCrazed » Thu Feb 14, 2008 4:43 pm

Here are a few bulls in Idaho? on the winter range...if you're from Idaho you may have heard about all the elk wintering along I-84...I received this pic from a friend who got it from the original source, or so they said...Pretty sweet pic either way!

I've heard there are thousands of elk on I-84 between Boise and Mt. Home. When I got that picture in an e-mail, I was impressed on how big some of those bulls are, especially for Idaho. That bull 4th from the right is a pig for sure.

Killerbee,

It's funny you say that....not long after I posted this I was talking to some people that I forwarded the email on to and that was one reoprt I heard as well, that they were in Montana...I am looking into it...I guess I just assumed they were Idaho bulls because there have been about 1500 elk counted along I-84 in the past few weeks....the email I received indicated that the pic was taken along the Interstate, but that may not be the case. I'll let everyone know as soon as I find out or if someone hears otherwise please post...Anyhow, the pic is awesome, not matter where they are! I'd like to find even the smallest bull in that group during hunting season!!

Wow the pictures in your album are great. I especially like the squirrel .
I will have to post some of mine soon. I do think I remember seeing a post
on the forum as to how to do it.
