Thanks for joining and sharing another angle with us! I'll be honest I didn't know Idaho grew them that big. :)

What a BEAUTY!! I can't even imagine walking up on something that big, great job again!

Now I can focus on trying to find a 200 Inch Deer. That might be another goal that requires a decade of my time, but this is a labor of love. There is really nowhere else I would rather be come fall. There is nothing like the anticipation of the hunt and being surrounded by close friends and great people in camp. It is my favorite time of year!

What hunt/area was this where you could hunt in August? I wasn't aware Idaho had such early hunts.

Honest question Brett! I have hunted in Idaho many times myself. I have NEVER seen a mature bull with velvet still attached in September, thus the conclusion it was killed in AUGUST! If they have an early season I would like to know about it. Follow your own advice, and quit reading between the lines! I meant nothing more than just learning about different options in different states.
