Trucks Packed

Well the truck is packed and I am out the door for CO elk opener. Good luck to all and I hope to have some pics to share in a couple of weeks.

I agree. Everything up to and including the shot is why we hunt.

Once the animal is down is when we question ourselves, why did I just do that?!? After the shot is when all the real hard work begins. But then once the meat is in the freezer it is all worth it!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

I wish my hunts started already. I gotta wait till Oct. 23rd for my Deer hunt in So. Utah then the next weekend I start my Montana Elk hunt. The anticipation is just killing me!! ](*,)
