WOW!
Thats a monster! Is the ranch a free roaming ranch? I sure hope its not a high-fenced! That would make me sick! 2 400" bulls in the same year! Now thats Elk management!

The ranch is 270,000 acres and is the largest ranch in the entire state of California. The only fence around it is a 4 strand barb-wire to keep the cattle in. I've hunted pigs on it several times and still have only seen about a quarter of the entire ranch.
Both Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett definatley consider the ranch as fair chase. The ranch ranges in elevation from about 2000' to over 8000' and has antelope, bear, mule deer, elk, and tons of wild hogs.
I can only afford to hunt the wild hogs. Since they began shooting monster size elk, I heard it will cost you a tune of at least $12,000 to hunt. Too much for my blood, but when the San Carlos Indian Rez charges $20,000-$25,000, the Tejon is a steal. Especially since the San carlos hasn't put out that quality of a bull in a little while.
