first bull elk!!

Here's my first bull i shot him in Wyoming on lthe last day, we got about a foot of snow the night before and thought we would go out and try it we cut his tracks and another bull's tracks for about a mile then they circled around us and while we were eating lunch he came walking up below us and that was all she wrote :))

Nice bull and Congrats on getting your first. Hopefully it got into your blood and now you're hooked.
I love to get on fresh elk tracks and stalking them down, especially when a legal bull is in the group. :thumb It works really well when you have a partner with you, so one can stay close to the track and the other hunter can get to the side and a few hundred yards ahead and glass for them.

Good Job!My first elk was a cow and I couldnt have been more excited,every elk we take on a fairchase hunt is a trophy for sure. :222
