first bull elk!!

Here's my first bull i shot him in Wyoming on lthe last day, we got about a foot of snow the night before and thought we would go out and try it we cut his tracks and another bull's tracks for about a mile then they circled around us and while we were eating lunch he came walking up below us and that was all she wrote

Nice bull and Congrats on getting your first. Hopefully it got into your blood and now you're hooked.
I love to get on fresh elk tracks and stalking them down, especially when a legal bull is in the group.
It works really well when you have a partner with you, so one can stay close to the track and the other hunter can get to the side and a few hundred yards ahead and glass for them.

Good Job!My first elk was a cow and I couldnt have been more excited,every elk we take on a fairchase hunt is a trophy for sure.
