I kinda feel sorry for the young lad. Ruined for life now, will spend the rest of his days trying to better that tule only to find bitter dissappointment.












:)) Congrats to the young man and I do remember the buck he took last year!

Just an update.....I officially measured him for B&C and P&Y after the mandatory 60 day drying period. His official score is as follows:

296 1/8" gross and 285 1/8" net. The all-time record book minimum for B&C Tule elk is 285" net, awards book is 270" net. Congrats to the young man with his first B&C all-time Tule Elk.

I used to love to watch the Tule elk on FT Hunter Liggett while pig hunting down there. Very cool!
