Best bow quiver available?

Post by PhillyB » Fri Jan 22, 2010 10:38 pm

Right now l have a Bohning quick release quiver and it doesn't fit as tight as it used to. l can hear it rattle when l release.

l have looked into the Alpine Archery soft lock and it looks like a good unit. l have also seen the Fuse, but that looks kinda like the bohning attachment system and looks like over time it may rattle as well.

Just wanted to see what everyone is using. l want something secure that doesn't rattle. So any thoughts would be great. Thanks

I've got a Quikee Quiver. It's light and quiet. There is a thumbscrew in the center to take the slack out of the quick attach bracket so it doesn't vibrate. I prefer to shoot with it off the bow so I put another bracket on my fanny pack. I made a metal plate slightly larger than the bracket and threaded it for the mounting screws. Made two holes in the pack and put a layer of Shoe Goo on the plate and the bracket. The plate went inside and the bracket went outside and I screwed them together and it's been a great setup ever since. Now I can put the quiver wherever I want.

Are you looking for a detachable only? If not, the Fuse or Octane is hard to beat.

Fuse two piece works great on Hoyt and Bowtech bows. Very quiet and dependable.

i've never been a fan of quik release quivers for that reason, i haven't seen one that doesn't rattle over time.

l have a Hoyt as well... the local shop here is going to set me up. Pretty neat that Hoyt has their own system which is pretty much rattle proof. :thumb

I used the Octane Bantamweight on my Admiral. It was light weight, quiet, and held tight to the bow. I am using the Fuse two peice 4 arrow Satori on my Alphamax and I don't think you could find a better quiver. Solid, quiet, and looks great.
