More important than if you can draw it with a bad shoulder is if you can let it down with a bad shoulder. Make sure the cam is tame enough to not jerk you when you let it down. I've got old shoulders and shoot a G-5 Primal and the old Ross CR337. They aren't blazing fast because the cams aren't crazy. The softer cams also tend to be easier on strings which get expensive if they need replacement. The dual cam bows will be easier to tune with fixed blade broadheads so you may want to stick with them. You really can't go wrong with Mathews.

I shoot a 2009 quest w/truglo sights, absolutly love my trufire release that folds back! on broad heads I throw rages. One piece of advice I can give you is do not chase the all the hype in the new bows and equipment unless that it is truly what you want and are willing to pay.
By all means shoot as many bows as possible and buy whats comfortable to you!
