KUIU Camo

Post by MuleyMadness » Mon May 09, 2011 11:16 pm

Thoughts fellas on this new line/brand of Camo?

From the former founder of Sitka, what you think? Seems like pretty good stuff to me.

Any one bought any yet or tried it out? Like the pattern?

I've looked into this line as well. Seems super rugged and light weight. I think the pattern would break up your outline well. Alot like predator or asat.
Havent tried any though.

I've had some for a few months now to test. So far so good......quality garments made of merino wool. It's lightweight, warm when it's cold out and surprisingly cool to wear when it's a bit warm out. I'll be using some in the high country for sure this Aug/Sep.

I bought the guide jacket. I like it, used it on a few early morning fishing trips. For the weight it is surprisingly warm.

The pattern is pretty neat too.

I have no doubt that it is rugged. It is quality. If you are considering new stuff, I wouldnt second guess picking some up :thumb

I've really been eye balling that Icon 6000 pack! Due to so many injuries top quality gear is becoming more of a nessesity than a luxury for me.
I am excited to see how all this gear gets reveiwed though.

Looks like pretty sweet stuff! I like the pattern. Don't have any myself but it definitely wouldn't hurt to add it to the wish list!

So far, so good...Wore my Guide Jacket in the wind and rain most of the day, dry and warm. Only thing I didn't care for was the Merino type tops for early hunts where my Ascent pants and Base Layer tops shine...We'll see! :-k

I think the Vias camo is going to be awesome in the open country stuff!
