Manti Bull

Post by Springville Shooter » Sun Sep 11, 2011 9:21 am

Just wanted to post a pic of a bull killed by a buddy on the Manti this week. He hunted for just over a week and had several opportunities at smaller bulls and nice 5 points. Despite the mobs of people and the sheep, he said that there were only two days that the bulls were not vocal at least in the mornings and evenings and this bull was killed at 1:00 PM at 12 yards. -------SS

Yup,
He's headed back to California with a big smile on his face. Drawing the Manti tag with two points was a bonus for him. He estimated the bull to score around 300-310, but I think it's more like 320-330. Either way it's a great archery bull and his best so far. ---------SS

Way to beat the odds on drawing the tag, then bag a bull like that, wow! If I were him I'd be stopping in Vegas on the way home! Congrats. :thumb
