The Hoyt Carbon Matrix is the next bow I will be buying. I have shot it as well and love it.

I think it's a matter of preference. Yours, no the deer's. I like black. But some camos look beter than others. I like Lost camo, and lately Predator Deception Fall Grey, like my Strother SX1 here:
