Anyone Shooting 3D's?

Post by BOHNTR » Sun Mar 28, 2004 9:41 pm

Went to my first 3D tournament of the year today. Some tough, hot and windy conditions but it was still better than staying at home. :)

I took my nine year old son with me and promptly cleaned house in his division. All I heard about on the drive home is how easy it's going to be when he's old enough to hunt deer! I guess he's got a lot to learn the next few years. Should be fun though.

Anyone else out there been shooting some tournaments? I have another 3D scheduled next weekend, then I'll shoot another in Oklahoma when I'm out there the next week. Should be fun.

Sounds like my kid BOHNTR! I take my oldest boy to the range and all he can talk about is how easy it's gonna be this year (His first year) because he can hit the bull's eye. I tried to explain that he's got a rest, he's relaxed, and he doesn't have a big buck standing in his sights...and as we all know, when your shootin' for real it's a whole new ball game!
He'll learn though.
