MASAAI WARRIOR BOW AND ARROW

Post by Cvrn » Sat Jan 27, 2007 1:05 pm

I was cleaning out my closet the other day and forgot all about this Bow & Arrow my Brother brought back from Kenya.

I put it away and had just forgot all about it. I will eventually put it in my house somewhere when my kids are older, I was worried they would play with it and break it. But it is a real Bow & arrow from the Hand's of a MASAAI WARRIOR that my brother traded some goods for.It is not out of a Souvineer shop it is the real deal.

My brother went over to Africa with a bunch of Doctors a few years ago for about 3 weeks. They slept out on the Saragheti. He has some pictures of some (I guess they would be called Warriors?)
with thes Bow & Arrows and they are singing and jumping around and it is unbelievable how High off the ground they are jumping.

They actually had the chance to climb Mt Killamanjero, unfortunately he got sick and could not make the top.

Anyhow thought it may interest some of you to see the Bow and Arrow.

Nope I didnt Know that, but.................... I hope it is ok and my luck will not be bad but be very good. This Weapon was not found it was traded by my Brother for a pair of boots or shoes, something the warrior wanted my Brother had and they did a trade, he knew I would like it
