Bow maintenance ?

Post by nuttinbutchunks » Sat Dec 22, 2007 4:04 pm

I was wondering if there was a preferred bow wax and axle lube you guys like? I know nothing about this stuff, but I think if I shoot this bow, I should maintain it.

If it was a gun, I'd clean it every time I took it out. How often do I need to use wax and lube? :-k Thanks. :)
You can stand me up at the gates of Elko and I won't back down!

Just take the wax and run up and down the string. I always go back over with my fingers to try and work it in. As far as axles most use sealed bearings that require no additional lube. But a little squart of breakfree or good lube should do the trick. :arrow

I wax after every outing myself.
