The eastern sierras are a fantastic place to hunt for big Mulies if you are willing to put in some time. I hunt X9b and X9a if I am drawn. In X9b focus your time up high around Coyote Ridge. In X9a, Bald Mountain and the country around Convict is very good. Good Luck.

I was born and raised in carson valley and have hunted the state line for years even had a cali tag one year i belive it was x10 there are big buck on the Gansburg place (buts up to the base of Jobs peak) the south end of carson valley was good for many years, I would go into Hope Valley and drop over the top in to the canyon on the south side of Jobs peak i seen the bigest buck i have ever seen there
