Advice on the Remington 700 Muzzleloaders

Post by Deschutesman » Mon Aug 23, 2004 1:11 pm

Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forum, but would like some advice on the Remington M700 muzzeloader. I've had a Thompson Center 50 caliber, but always had a problem with misfires. I've been saving up preference points in Oregon for 8 years and have been putting in for the Juniper Muzzleloader hunt. It's a high desert refuge migration hunt here in Oregon, and produces some whoppers. Any advice on better brands of muzzleloaders to get started with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dang that is one tough thing to read. I have a remington 700 ml. I thought it was ok but I did want to try an Omega with 28 inch barrel and 150 grains powder.
There is plenty of room for gods creatures right next to the mashed potatoes
