Knight Disc Conversion Kit

Post by skull krazy » Wed Aug 29, 2007 5:10 pm

I just bought a brand new Knight disc Extreme .50 cal ML.
I see there is a "conversion kit" to the new style.
Has anyone done this to their rifles that own's a Knight disc, and what are the pro's & con's of doing it?
It's a fairly cheap changover, less that $100.
Just wondering if it's worth it and is it that much better? :dumb

I have the origianl knight disc and in about 5 years of hunting with it have never had a miss-fire.. why spend more money?? on something that for me works just fine..

Thanks again heshen, but what's the availability on the plastic "disc's" going to be now that it's been discontinued?
Cabela's in lehi doesn't even carry them anymore. ](*,)

WOW... Thats interesting that cabelas in Lehi does not have them.. Sportsmans Warehouse in St. George does as well as Dixie Gun & Fish where I usually shop for my stuff... I guess I never really thought of them being discontinued.. I bought a 1000 pack of the plastic sleeves 2 years ago so that thought never cossed my mind. They have been around long enough Im sure you can get them in huge quantities somewhere.. My dad has the newer knight and he likes mine better.. So I guess it also comes down to personal preference!!

I'll shop around and see if i can buy a big pack that will last me a while. Maybe Gunnies in Orem, or Sportsman's. [-o<
