If it's too easy and the challenge is gone the thrill of actually finding one would be gone too! But being easier is what goes through my mind too during those long dry spells.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on that one, we found 5 or 6 match sets this year that were laying right next to each other. I get excited picking up just a single horn but when you walk up on a match set laying next to each other you can triple my excitment level. If you go to the Elk Hunting section and look at my Shed Hunting Trip 2011 (I think) and find the brown match set that I found, those were laying within 20 yards of each other.Sniper1 wrote:It would be no fun if every set lay like that...
