Question

Post by Ekim49 » Thu Mar 26, 2015 9:39 am

Anyone ever shed hunt the pauns for elk sheds? I recently moved to Nevada and have family in southern utah. I had a few spots in northern utah which were pretty decent before I moved. I'm not asking for any tips on where to go. I'm just curious if anyone has had success with the pauns and if so maybe you could post some pics. Thank you

Tough place to find elk sheds IMO. Not saying there's not a few out there, but I think some other units might produce better. I've only found a couple of Elk sheds on Pauns over the years.

Yes you can find elk bone on the Pauns but it's tough and you have to be at the right place at the right time, and it gets hit pretty hard by the locals.

What southern utah units would you suggest?
