Second Outing of 2009

Post by For The Love of It » Mon Apr 20, 2009 9:29 am

After an uneventful walk the week before my father and I hit our honey hole. As usual it produced for us again. All of these horns were picked up within a half mile square in one day. We ended up coming out of their with 19 brown sheds and 17 whites. I have another photo from two years ago with more sheds we picked up from the same hole I will try to get posted.

I have found the key to picking up this many sheds is go where an ATV can't go. There are not many around here whoa re willing to put the boot leather down to pick up sheds, which is just fine by me.

These were found in Nevada. Fortunatly enough shed hunting here doesn't seem to be as popular as in Utah.

Nice job! I'm still trying to find areas where the ATV's aren't pounding away. Seems like even the closed areas have tracks in them where they've been riding illegaly :>/
