Hey guys, im new to muley madness and looking at all the sweet pics makes me want to go out and take some of my own..i'm trying to decide on a camera to take wildlife photos with but im not sure how much zoom i'll need..I'm looking at either the canon powershot sx700 or the nikon coolpix s9700...anybody know how far I can reach out with these cameras or other similar cameras?

Don't know anything about the Nikon, but point and shoot camera's are not real good for wildlife IMO. Look at the Canon SX50 it's pretty good for cheap budget.

Thanks. Yep, definitely on a cheap budget..just looking for the most bang for my buck.
I was mostly thinking of point and shoot because it seems easier to pack while hunting and seems pretty basic. Never owned a camera before.
