Colorado unit 44 3rd rifle Help!

Hey guys I hope someone can help me out I waited 18 years and final got a 3rd rifle tag for unit 44 colrado and I will be coming from out of state so I dont have a clue on the unit so any and all help will be appreciated. Nor have I hunted colorado in november? What weather to expect? I have never hunted mule deer specifically. I have taken a rocky mtn goat in the collegiate peaks by aspen and pronghorns and elk, hunt mtns lots all over
just never for mule deer so dont have a clue on them. I can walk and shoot. I can reciprocate with whitetail midwestern info hunted those all my life or a nice steak dinner and a bottle of Jack daniels for any of you local fellows
I will come out and scout in october

You should have a good hunt and there are some monsters there. The best thing you could have done is to elk hunt the unit a few times when it started look like you would have enough points to draw. It is a big unit and bucks will be scattered. Knowing the roads is a big help. Getting enough snow will really help getting those bucks out of the timber and out into the oak brush and pinyons/cedars. Bring chains for all wheels and use them. The roads will get nasty between storms. It will also get below zero right after a storm so be prepared for cold weather. Best of luck!

i live in this unit. hunted it for 24 years now. its good but its crowded its a hard unit to hunt due to snow and huge amount of people
