Backdoor Draw Results Open for CO

Post by TexasHunter83 » Sun May 29, 2016 10:41 pm

So I checked my status through the back-door method on CDOW and think I may have drawn. I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the thread. Went into the permit transaction section and saw they had me down for a code "591 Non Res Deer." If I remember correctly, this means I was drawn for mule deer correct?

That is correct, congrats on the tag. Good luck and give us a report when you get back

Looks like I got my deer tag for third season but didn't draw elk. Didn't plan on elk but was hopeful. Still have left over tags coming up!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Hopefully my wife and grandson will get their deer tags for 2nd season and fill them to take the pressure off of me!

My wife didn't draw but my grandson got his deer tag. It'll be his first time hunting anything and I'll do my best to help him get a nice buck. Good news is my wife and I should both draw elk next year.

Congrats to your grandson! Something about drawing a mule deer tag that gets me "giddy." I'd like to try hunting elk one of these days, but I'd like to get a nice Muley to hang on the wall first.

I've got three muleys on the wall already but I'd much rather have elk in the freezer! Down to just a few pounds now and my wife has gotten pretty used to the stuff over the years.
