Video Upload Clarification...
Been asked a couple of times if users are allowed to upload video clips to the forum...
The answer is YES, but it's functions are limited.
For example, the file size must be 4 MB or under...if it's bigger you will get an error saying "tried to upload empty file" and it won't work.
The 2 formats I got to work are...
1. WMV (WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO)
2. MOV (Quicktime made by Apple, available for MAC or PC)
Uploading video is simple, it's the exact same as adding photos...
Just click >Browse>find video file on your computer>click add or open>then click Add Attachment>then be patient while it uploads...
A link to download both if you don't have them already...

This WMV file doesn't seem to work on my Mac. If there was a way to just download the file (right click, save file as) rather than stream I could probably either convert it or use another app to open it.
Just something to consider for us Mac users, unless of course I'm the only one.
Microsoft stopped developing Windows Media Player for the Mac a few years back. They suggest using a third party app known as Flip4Mac WMV, which then is suppose to play WMV files in Quicktime. However it's not real consistent, and in the case with this file it doesn't work. Of course if EVERYONE posted the movie clips in .mov the world would be a better place.
Fortunately I have a Windows computer as well, but MAC's are better ;-)

I would like to make a correction on my previous post. After I tried viewing that clip in Firefox on a Mac, it didn't work and i wrote the post.
I should have tried the clip in Safari using the Mac, before opening my big trap. So I have now tried the clip in Safari and all works fine. Clicked on download, another page opens and the wmv file stream begins immediately.
That was a sweet clip!
Sorry for any confusion, it seems to be a Firefox issue. I think OSX Mac users will still need Flip4Mac WMV to see WMV files.
