Went up with a buddy of mine and his son, and my brother this morning for the opening of the Utah general deer hunt. My buddy and his boy had the tags.
We walked down of the ridge that we were hunting and watched a couple of side hills for the morning, saw only elk, branch antlered bulls. Nothing huge but one was okay, 2 spikes, and about 50 head of cows. We decided to go back up to the top of the ridge and rim around. My brother went with our buddy and I went with his boy, well the way my brother led our buddy into a nice buck, he mad a clean 100 yard shot and his tag was filled.
Congrats to him on a fine looking 4 pt and good luck to his boy. Hope we can get him one. Enjoy the pics.
