Dog hunting was good, but two got away, first call of the morning produced on female, partner hit her with the shotgun about 25yds.
Second set I had my back to the rock and partner down wind, started the call set and he watched a young male come over the hill down the draw at full run, by the time he stopped running he was between us (I never saw him) he saw/winded me and took off, Jeff barked at him he slowed up, Jeff’s gun did not fire, dog got away but no shot was fired.

4th set on the morning, they (2) came running to the call, barked at them to stop them about 100yds, drilled the larger (female) she dropped 2nd dog took off, I stopped her and missed the 2nd dog.

Utah song dogs smell gunpowder from miles away!

No luck here. Several stands and no dogs called in. ](*,)
