M.D.attic, man I wish. I zeroed out on every apllication in every state I applied this year. I sure do thank you for the invite and good luck on your hunt.

Re: Arrow or not to Arrow?
if i draw a paungs archery tag i am personally holding out for something bigger. But then again archery is a lot tougher than rifle, or muzz... It depends on what is presented and if you can even get a shot on him... I think he may push 170-75 come the time of the hunt. He would look good on any wall... but personally i hold out for something bigger until the last week.

AMEN!!! Shoot that bad boy! That's a great deer no matter who you are. Sometimes I think we get too caught up in scores.NONYA wrote:Pass that buck up and he will haunt your dreams forever,I dont know what you already have hangin on the wall but unless you have a couple 200" deer already youd be nuts to pass that buck.

Re: Arrow or not to Arrow?
The real question is whether you would shot him or not? that's all that matters.

I shot some video of this buck last week. If you are thinking about going after it... you better do it on the opening. I'm sure there are plenty of other archery hunters with that tag that won't be as picky and given his location... he likely won't be around long. He'll either get taken early or get smart real quick.

I agree with Nonya, if you are passing on that buck, I cant wait to see the pics of the buck you end up taking.NONYA wrote:Pass that buck up and he will haunt your dreams forever,I dont know what you already have hangin on the wall but unless you have a couple 200" deer already youd be nuts to pass that buck.
Re: Arrow or not to Arrow?
Nice buck! Due to the area your in I would hold off awhile longer.
