What do you pack in for sleeping??
What do you pack in for sleeping??
Just wandering what everyone stays in.
Hotel?
Camper?
Canvas tent?
bivy tent?
Hammock?
good ole mother earth?
We are taking in as little as possible (weather pending). We want to be at least two miles from any road, then day trip from there. Does this sound like a descent plan??
This is our first trip to CO. for elk, so we aren't used to the extreme elevations.
Good luck

Hey,
well for the Elk hunt im a sissy i'll admit it
i stay in a trailer thats 30 ft long
but i hunt in elevations between 9,000 to 10,000 give or take a lil. It is one COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hunt when ur up that high and when the weather turns bad we hafta pull out of our camp an go lower because u dont want to be stuck up there in a middle of a bad snow storm or u aint gettin out. I pack alot of stuff mostly extra clothing but water and food. Make sure u have ALOT of water because bein in harsh elevations ur throat goes dry really fast an its harder to breathe. But all in all its just the basics an tons of hiking so well enjoy ur hunt and may luck be with u ![lol.gif lol](./images/smilies/lol.gif)
