Alberta Whitetails Hunting Outfitters
Alberta Whitetails
Our whitetail deer hunts are conducted in Wildlife Management Unit 506, located near Athabasca, Alberta, Canada, approximately 90 minutes north of the city of Edmonton.
The area consists of a mixture of thick bush and agricultural farmland and borders the northern boreal forest fringe. It is prime habitat for whitetail deer and is well known for producing world class bucks.
We like to hunt deer with an element of surprise, therefore we vary our hunting methods depending on the conditions of that particular day. We may decide to utilize tower blinds, ground blinds, still hunting, rattling or a combination of these methods.
We also offer shed hunts from mid-February until the end of April, with the best time being mid-March. When you book a fall hunting adventure with us, we do the pre-work for you. But if you're really interested the ultimate hunting experience, join us in the spring to do your own scouting and selection of your hunting area for the fall.
Alberta Whitetails is a small operation and we place our emphasis on the quality of the hunt rather than the quantity of hunters. This philosophy allows us to provide flexibility, personalized service and outstanding adventures to serious deer hunting enthusiasts.
