Shiras moose archery hunts are a two on one hunt, we tree stand hunt over mineral licks as well as spot, stalk and call. The rifle hunt is in the prime rut, one on one. Black bear hunt is a spot and stalk hunt in the mountains using horses. The bear hunt is in May when the fur is in excellent shape. We also provide mule deer hunts out of tent camps in the mountains. This 5 day hunt runs from the last week of October through the end of November and takes place in very high, rugged terrain but our results have been excellent on big mule deer. We also offer a mule deer - whitetail deer combination in foothills ranchland where we use horses and four wheel drives and stay at Anchor D Ranch.
