River Valley Lodge Hunting Outfitters

Moose/Wolf hunts are in the northern region of Alberta and two ten-day camps are operated during the rut/calling season. We own all of the rut/calling tags in this area and careful harvesting has resulted in exceptional quality trophies. During your stay at moose camp, you can also fish for northern pike in the 20+lb. range as well as walleye in the 10+lb. range. Moose hunts are conducted from our tented camp complete with power, hot showers, separate dining facilities. Five moose hunts are conducted here per season. Bear hunts are done from stands over bait. Bears are abundant in our area and the color phases vary from black to dark brown to blonde. All hunters have the option of harvesting 2 bears. The average size of bears in this area is between 5 ½ - 6 ½ feet. Seven bear hunts are conducted here per season. Waterfowl and upland game bird hunts are operated out of our main lodge. We conduct two shoots daily in the morning and evening. Buffalo ranched hunts available upon request in December and January only.
