Hardisty is located in the Battle River Valley, with our main headquarters and lodge are on the shores of beautiful Hardisty Lake. The abundance of pea and cereal grain fields has created in this area some of the most exciting and ideal waterfowl hunting of the central flyway of Alberta, Canada for ducks and geese. Your guide, John Golka is a 40 year resident of Alberta, landowner and farmer with 35 year of waterfowl hunting experience. Dick Hornby comes from Vancouver BC, and has hunted with us for over 20 years has joined our guiding group. Goose hunts will usually be held once a day, either in the morning or the afternoon, depending on the patterns of the birds using a large spread of quality decoys and a fully portable blind. The rest of the day will be duck hunting, upland or another goose hunt. We offer 4 day waterfowl hunting trips starting Sunday - Wednesday and the second half of the week, Wednesday - Saturday.
