um this buck wasn’t all that big but he was around 24 1/2 wide, but a trophy to me, i saw a lot of other bucks and passed on some bigger ones, i also saw this one and watched him for 3 days before making the stalk
ya i have never gotten to hunt canada but i would like too, although this is a lot of sage and juniper, we also hunted a lot of creek drainages and pine country, bucks were around but we spotted this boy and watched him 3 of 4 days before putting him down.
ya we had seen him a few times, but the shot was maybe 80 to 100 yards and behind him was a draw and to the right of the photo turned into pines, i shot him one time through the lungs offhand with a 270 and remington core locked ultra with 140 grain partitions
and boy that buck fell like a sack of rocks, never took another step, but he bled out a lot as you can see in the bottom right corner, i had to grab horns and drag him a little to try and get him out of the blood
hey nice deer man. I live in the area where you killed this buck and i know the spot where you shot him i think. I was just wounderin if u had permission because no one gets permission thanks
Nice buck you’ve got I’ve never gotten to hunt in Oregon but I’ve heard some nice stories about monster muleys being killed down there what caliber did you plug him with how much did he weigh
