Dan Picciuto – Central California

This buck was taken in central California my sonís and I hunted hard the entire season and the last weekend the hard work paid off. The bucks outside spread is 281/2 inches and heís a 4x6x1 (the thing that looks like a leaf on his forehead is actually a 11/2 inch horn) I stalked to about 35 yards and by the time he gave me a clear shot he was at 32 yards he went about 40 yards before he went down. It took my son and I about 4 hours to pack him the 8 miles back to the truck and yes it was quite the hike but defiantly worth every step.
