i’m willing to bet based on the amount of orange these guys are wearing they’re not from the east, definetly not from the southeast. Thats something the yankees and the westerners are known for. Not that you can be too safe, it’s just a bit much. Judging by the "cut neck" it appears it was either a) shot in the neck, or b) throat was slit to "dispatch" the deer quickly and humanely.
the deer were shot in n.e. utah.i guess everyone has their own technique. the gut job that looks like a first timer was a14 yr. old first timer. we took 17 bucks this year in our camp. all on public land. alot of women and first time hunters. the biggest taken scored in the 170’s. i got a good laugh when i read the cracks on my coat $35 army/navy special the reverse is camo. and i was warm haah
thats nothing… where i hunt our pole broke this year. all of our bucks are big ones. they have to be a three point or better. i hunt in eastern washington. you should look into it. good luck next year and nice deer
congratulations dude. im from so. utah and your pretty lucky to get that many bucks all on the same hunt. heck, its rare to even see more than one little spike or two on the entire hunt.r
well patty the reason you dont see any bucks is becuae ill bet you road hunt. and in order to get good bucks on the rifle hunt you have to do some hiking in fact its like that with anyhunt well given you can get lucky and come across some nice bucks road hunting but usaully by the riffle hunt they are to stirred upto, i see giant bucks everytime i go out i am hunting archery and if it wasnt so hard to sneek up on the smart big bucks id have a nice one i have seen everything from 24 inches to 32 inchers this year but usaully just outta reach so. utah has some big bucks people are just lazy road hunters here.
