This buck was taken about 40 miles south of Battle Mountain, NV in area 15. We caught him transitioning from a feeding area to a rocky bluff he was going to bed down in. He was traveling with 10 does and the shot was right at 300 yards. My daughter Kylie was the shooter. She was shooting a Remington 700 ADL and 150 gr. Remington core-lokt bullets. This is Kylie's third mule deer but nothing can compare to this buck. She truly notched a once in a lifetime buck.
