'06 Nevada 'lope

Here is my antelope from last fall. His horns are just over 14" long but, with excellent mass and good prongs he gross scores 81 7/8.
The cool thing about the hunt was I didn't see another hunter. I was also able to get live photos of the buck the week before the hunt, and just a few minutes before I harvested him, both bedded down and standing. Sorry, but I don't have the live photos uploaded.
Holy cow...antelope are fun to hunt!!

I am sure I deleted them from my memory card after I had them developed. I will double check. This is the only picture I saved onto my computer.

what area did you take him in? looks like elko county?

Yes, I believe I was in Elko county. It was north of Wells. I sure was wishing I had an elk tag for the unit. I saw some awesome bulls in velvet. Some of them were in places I never would expect to see elk. I actually put in for that unit for elk this year. The odds were a little better than the unit I usually put in for.
