12 colorado pref points what would you do?

Hi guys new to forum and since I have been banking my pref points for both elk and mule deer am wanting to finally go on a hunt this year. WOuld like to deer hunt first, what would you guys do in my situation and do you have any outfitters or guides to point me in the right direction. Don't want to waste 12 points on a dinky deer or lipservice. Thanks in advance. Have a chance to hunt unit 43 with outfitter in the 4th season during rut would this be wot=rth it?

I have not hunted there yet, but i would do it since there are monster bucks in the White River National Forest

If I had that many points and wanted to go outfitted, I would be looking at the eastern plains units. No way would I burn that many points in that unit. If I were thinking about a particular unit I would get in touch with the DOW person for that area...I've found them to be very helpful for the most part.

I woudn't spend that many points to draw unit 43. You could possibly draw that tag with 1/2 that many points. I would look at some of the early rifle seasons and see if any of those are a possibility.

unit 61 is the best unit to get but if you want to spend them on it, go ahead

I would use them on Unit 21, 3rd rifle. You won't be disappointed.
