I saw a 32 8X7 (in the flesh) that was taken on public land. It is a true hog. I'll have to let them tell the story if they ever do.

Ox, is the buck you are talking about generally referred to as the Koyle buck? It was on the pahvaunt unit. It was killed by a young hunter driving his 4-wheeler on a road is what I was told. I do have a pic of it if it is the one you are referring to. Like 25 inches wide, but inline points everywhere?

All kidding aside, CONGRATS to the youngster on a MASSIVE buck. Of course, he will have a hard time improving on that later in life. That's why I shoot the small ones....there is always room to move up...LOL

Dude, I think that there is more of a chance that I will be killed by a flaming meteorite while hunting than ever killing something like that. Wonder if that young man realizes what he has there. This is one of the best buck that I've ever seen taken hands down.---shooter

Congrates to the hunter!!!

Anyone know the story behind this buck?? i hate to start any crap and i really don't want to but my dad has a picture of a buck like this he was showing me when we where fishing Ottercreek last week. and he said he took it after the hunt, off the road, while he and a road crew where working in the marrysville area. so wondering if maybe its the same buck and if maybe it was taken on a CWMU hunt.. like i said i am not causing trouble just want to know. If i can get my dad to scan a picture of his deer i'll show you what i am talking about. if its not the same deer then he has a twin

This was the story that was in the email of the same photos that I got today.

Here is some pictures of an amazing buck. Zach Waters is 12 years
> old and this was his first deer hunt. His Dad and him went out and
> shot a forky Sunday night and took it home to find out that it had
> been wounded and rotting and infected. The Fish & Game came and
> inspected the carcass on Monday and found that it not to be any
> good. The Fish & Game reissued Zach a new Tag and off they went
> again. They jumped this Buck early in the morning @ 50 yards
> thought they'd never see him again. Later that morning they jumped
> him again @150 yards and Zach was quick on the trigger and shot him
> on a dead run up the saddle. He hit him in the rear leg and broke
> it all the way. They followed the blood trail and figured he hit an
> artery the way it was bleeding out. 200 yards down the trail they
> spotted him again and shot him through the back & liver. Zach is
> the kind of young man that deserves this buck and has had a smile
> on his face ever since. Unofficial B&C score 235 4/8. Way to go Zach!

Way to go Zach is correct. You will propably never get a shot at a buck of that class again. I sure hope you know what a stud of a buck that is. Well done young man.
