I'm counting down the days...leaving next Thursday to the Kaibab. I haven't hunted there since I was a kid, and don't remember much about the area. My uncle just returned from the early hunt there, and didn't have much luck. He saw alot of deer, but no good bucks. Of all the people he talked to, they had a similar experience. I'm hoping things change during this two week gap. I am trying not to get discouraged about his hunting report and plan to go with a good attitude and hunt hard! I'll let you guys know how it goes when I return.

Cool. We're supposed to get little bit of a cool front moving in, hopefully that'll help you. Good luck.

Thats the story for all of us, the weather is making some of the worlds best hunts go crappy. I'm on one of Colorados best hunts and I'm not seeing much but the biologist here told me today its to hot and dry, but if the weather comes through There will be enough big bucks around for the 25 tag holders to have a shot at 180-220 inch bucks. I did see one bruiser but he was next to a house. Lets cross are fingures and hope for some weather.
