12pts in Colo Deer

Hi, Just needing a lead on which unit to try for with my pts. I really want to hunt this yr. But I don't want to waste 12 yrs of pts. If I still can't draw a great unit I would like to try for a landowner permit.

go grab a copy of "public land mulies the bottom line" it breaks down every state and areas. Then go grab the latest copy of eastmans hunting journal and eastmans bowhunting journal, they will give you the same things at the back in the MRS but they will be more up to date. Do your reasearch and you will be able to make a good choice. No one here is going to share their best area but the eastmans will! :))

I would pick a good 4th season hunt, talk to the biologist for the units you are looking into and see what their opinion of the health of herd is before applying

Good idea. The monsters come out of the woodwork then. Mesa and Eagle counties lead the state in Booners.
