Thanks for all the replys. Sorry for the bad pic, but all the rest are too big to post. Anyways, I took this buck in southern Utah on Aug. 20 2007 on public land. I spent most the day hiking around and glassing, looking for bedded deer. Fed up with only seeing doe's and fawns I decided I was going to head back to the four wheeler. I knew it was a long ways away if I were to go back the way I came so I decided I was going to try finding a short cut. As I was headed back I kept glassing the trees hoping to maybe see something. Not seeing much and sensing the four wheeler was close by I started to move a little quicker. Headed up the trail I spotted a 2 point, about that same time he spotted me and bounce off. I glassed through the trees hoping there was something following. As I glassed I could see several deer bedded down and all of them were bucks. Realizing these bucks werent alerted by the 2 point taking off, I knew I had a good chance. After what seemed like an hour a few bucks started to get up and feed, none which were shooters in my book. I could still see a few deer bedded way in the back but I couldnt get a good look at there racks. Finaly I see a shooter buck raise his head, I could tell he was about to get up. Thats when I began to shake. Putting down my binos and raising rangefinder I realized I was shaking too bad to even spot the buck through the trees let alone range him. By this point he was feed quartering away from me and I knew I had to pull it togther. I picked a spot up ahead of him where I thought he would come out and I would have a clear shot. The range was 80 yards, knowing I could make this shot from all the 100 yard practicing we did this summer I drew back and waited for the buck to step out. As he stepped out I whissled stopping him dead in his tracks, by the time he turned his head the arrow was already on its way. The buck jumped straight in the air with his legs kicked out, typical of a vital shot. Shaken by what had just happened I went to look for my arrow. When I got to where the buck was standing I realized I just took the buck of my life time, the area was covered in blood. Needless to say there was no tracking job on this buck he layed only a 100 yards from where he was shot. He was mine finally a P&Y buck to put on the wall. The shot hit his heart and one lung due to the uphill slightly quartering shot I took. My biggest buck to date and hes going to look good on the wall. Ill post pics of the mount when I get him back. Thank You

Awesome job, I'm IMPRESSED. Great buck. I've blown chance after chance this year with the bow. Can't seem to seal the deal. I'm learning quick I hope though. :)
