2009 Hunting Success!!!

The cool, crisp November evening found me sitting excitedly on my usual perch, overlooking my favorite hunting spot. Although I certainly didn't expect to see anything, the chance was always there and I was ready.

As the minutes ticked by I began to daydream a bit about one day bringing home that "booner" that we all dream about. As my mind raced and my thoughts danced through the hunting lands in my head I began to lose myself...and my concentration on the prey at hand.

Seconds before I fell into a light slumber it happened...and I couldn't believe my eyes at first! That "booner" that I was dreaming about just seconds before came streaking across my line of fire. However, with the reflexes of a mountain lion I grabbed my weapon, found the "kill zone" and sent my fatal shot forward.

As quickly as it began it was over...and the trophy was mine! I am completely on cloud 9 at the moment and may just have to hang up my weapons after this season. After all, how can I top this beast?!
