2009 Montana Pope and Young Bull

Thought I would share some pics of my first Bull harvested this year in Montana on public land....I am headed out to gather cattle off the desert the next couple days so I'll write the story when i get back...Details...328 gross...75 inches of mass... called in at 15 yards using a mouth reed and a Montana Decoy... Full pass through starting between his neck and front shoulder and ending zipping out between his last two ribs...40 yard recovery...I'll get the whole story written when I get back...Needless to say I am pumped about this bull....Hope you guys and gals like him...

That is a great bull!!! I love the symmetry. I had his brother broadside at 124 yards during my hunt. Could have used one of those exploding broadheads that Rambo had.

Congratulations on a great animal! For those of you that probably don't know, Montana produces more P&Y bulls than any other state or province.

Great bull!!!

I just returned from a two week DIY archery elk hunt on public land in Montana.

Unfortunately, no trophy pictures to share.

Saw 3 nice bulls one in the 330+ range..he will be there next year unless the rifle hunters get him.
